01Our standard
This standard applies to every part of MyNest: profiles, photos, prompts, messages and behaviour between members, on or off the app. It is part of our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, which every member agrees to.
02An adults-only service
- MyNest is only for people aged 18 and over. Every member must confirm their date of birth to sign up, and anyone under 18 is refused.
- We may ask any member to verify their age, and we close accounts we reasonably believe belong to someone under 18.
- Photos of children on their own are not allowed, and our moderation team reviews every new photo within 24 hours of upload.
- Links cannot be sent in chat, which limits attempts to move conversations or share material elsewhere.
03How to report
In the app: open the member’s profile or your chat with them, tap the menu, choose Report and select “Appears to be under 18”, or another reason that fits. You can report a whole profile or a single message. Reports are confidential.
By email: write to info@iplust.in with the member’s name and what you saw. Please do not send us copies of any abusive images; describe them instead.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact the police or emergency services first (112 in India). In India you can also report at cybercrime.gov.in. Elsewhere, you can report to the NCMEC CyberTipline or your national hotline listed by INHOPE.
04How we respond
- Reports involving a possible child are prioritised above all others and reviewed as quickly as possible, and always within 24 hours.
- We remove the content and suspend the account while we investigate.
- Where we find CSAE or CSAM, we permanently ban the account and take steps to stop the person returning.
- We report apparent CSAM and child exploitation to the relevant authorities, including law enforcement in India under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 and the Information Technology Act, 2000, and to the relevant national or international hotline.
- We preserve relevant information as required by law and cooperate fully with lawful requests from law enforcement.
05Compliance with the law
MyNest complies with the child safety laws that apply to us, including the POCSO Act, 2012, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it in India, and the laws of the countries where MyNest is available. We review these standards regularly and update our tools and processes as needed.
